Already have a car with roof rails or cross bars? You may not need to rent a vehicle at all.
If your own vehicle has factory roof rails, fixed points, or existing cross bars, a Thule Tepui rooftop tent can often mount directly to it — no need to book one of our rooftop-tent SUVs. You'll pick up the tent and mount it yourself; we'll walk you through the setup first.

The Kukenam 3 sleeps up to three people; the Ayer 2 is a lighter, two-person option. Both mount to a compatible roof rack or cross bar setup and set up in minutes at camp.

Do I need roof rails or cross bars already installed?
Yes, your vehicle needs either factory roof rails, fixed mounting points, or existing cross bars for a rooftop tent to mount securely. If you're not sure what your vehicle has, describe it in the form and we'll help figure it out.
What if my vehicle isn't compatible?
We'll let you know by email, and can suggest one of our rooftop-tent SUV rentals instead if a tent-only rental isn't a good fit for your car.
Do you install the tent on my vehicle?
Not currently — you'll pick up the tent and mount it onto your own roof rack or cross bars yourself. We'll walk you through the setup at pickup so you know what to expect.
Is this an instant booking?
No — this is a request. We manually confirm compatibility and availability, then follow up by email with next steps and payment.
Where is pickup?
Pickup is in south Edmonton, about 18 km from YEG airport. We'll confirm exact pickup details once your rental is confirmed.
